Specialising in disability adaptations for councils, businesses, shops, restaurants, offices, and private homes, All Done Build carry out structural adaptations for wheelchair users and people with special needs to improve access and make the premises easier and safer for independent living.
Legislation covering disabled access affects all commercial organisations including offices, shops and restaurants. Businesses are legally required by the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) to make adjustments to premises to ensure their services and products are accessible to all.
Some of our most recent projects include:
- Installation of wheelchair ramps
- Modification of doorways and doors to assist in access
- Refitting bathrooms to include handles, handrails, disabled access toilets
- Installing lifts and specialised equipment
- Lowering the height of kitchen counters
Commercial work, regulated under DDA legislation, is carried out in compliance with the appropriate Part B and Part M regulations. However, we believe that residential customers deserve equal consideration and whilst no certification is required, we carry out the work to the same high standards.
